Cost: FREE for basic use, PAID to remove the watermark

Description: Screencast-O-Matic is a free software that records your computer screen. It can be used to record anything that is displayed on the monitor. Once finished recording, the user can export it directly to their own video hosting service, Youtube, or to various video formats such as MP4. This program is great for narrating students through any kind of still media. Depending on your computer, framerates can be a little slow, so narrating video might not be the best approach. However, to explain something like a presentation or a poster, it is great. It can also be a great system for narrating use of software such as Adobe Photoshop or even something as simple as Windows Movie Maker.

Difficulty of Use: Screencast-O-Matic is very easy to use. The program starts with 3 clicks and the interface is incredibly easy to use.
